Biography Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen was born on July 3, 1965 in Elling, Denmark.
At a very early age Connie began training as not only an actress but as a singer and dancer as well. By the time she was 15 she began performing with her mother in local shows. By 18 she had headed off to Paris to pursue a career in the arts and soon found herself touring the world. She began making films in Italy and South Africa before coming to New York in 1993 to make her English film debut in a made for TV thriller called "Voyage".
Connie, fluent in English, German, Danish, Swedish, Italian and French, has since found herself in mainly big-money Hollywood films and spending most of her time in the U.S. After "Voyage" she was cast in the big budget "The Devil's Advocate" (1997), starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves. Since working with Pacino and Reeves she has gone on to appear opposite Kurt Russell in "Soldier" (1998), Bill Murray in "Rushmore" (1998) and Russell Crowe in "Gladiator" (2000). Her next few projects also placed her with some well known names, including Robin Williams in "One Hour Photo" (2002), Tommy Lee Jones in "The Hunted" (2003) and with John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in "Basic" (2003).
